After ten years of traveling together to defeat the Demon King, the hero's party of Himmel, Heiter, Eisen, and the elven mage Frieren goes their separate ways. For Frieren, whose life spans over a thousand years, their time together feels like only a brief moment. She returns to collecting spells across the continent, showing little emotion. As the years pass and her former companions die, Frieren begins to regret not appreciating their bond. Hoping to better understand humans and form real connections, she sets out on a new journey of reflection and growth.
